چکیده

This paper conducts a Bayesian analysis of inverse Gaussian process models for degradation modeling and inference. Novel features of the Bayesian analysis are the natural manners for incorporating subjective information, pooling of random effects information among product population, and a straightforward way of coping with evolving data sets for on-line prediction. A general Bayesian framework is proposed for degradation analysis with inverse Gaussian process models. A simple inverse Gaussian process model and three inverse Gaussian process models with random effects are investigated using Bayesian method. In addition, a comprehensive sensitivity analysis of prior distributions and sample sizes is carried out through simulation. Finally, a classic example is presented to demonstrate the applicability of the Bayesian method for degradation analysis with the inverse Gaussian process models. & 2014 Elsevier Ltd. Bayesian Estimation of Shift Point in Shape Parameter of Inverse Gaussian Distribution Under Different Loss Functions

In this paper, a Bayesian approach is proposed for shift point detection in an inverse Gaussian distribution. In this study, the mean parameter of inverse Gaussian distribution is assumed to be constant and shift points in shape parameter is considered. First the posterior distribution of shape parameter is obtained. Then the Bayes estimators are derived under a class of priors and using variou...

A Bayesian optimal design for degradation tests based on the inverse Gaussian process

The inverse Gaussian process is recently introduced as an attractive and flexible stochastic process for degradation modeling. This process has been demonstrated as a valuable complement for models that are developed on the basis of the Wiener and gamma processes. We investigate the optimal design of the degradation tests on the basis of the inverse Gaussian process. In addition to an optimal d...

Analysis of Hierarchical Bayesian Models for Large Space Time Data of the Housing Prices in Tehran

Housing price data is correlated to their location in different neighborhoods and their correlation is type of spatial (location). The price of housing is varius in different months, so they also have a time correlation. Spatio-temporal models are used to analyze this type of the data. An important purpose of reviewing this type of the data is to fit a suitable model for the spatial-temporal an...

RUL Estimation Using an Adaptive Inverse Gaussian Model

In this paper, an adaptive inverse Gaussian stochastic process is developed to characterize the degradation process of condition monitored components. The knowledge of the degradation process is updated through the parameter of the process when new observations are available. The updating is performed through a general Bayesian filtering process within a state space model setting. The proposed ...

Adaptive Bayesian density estimation using Pitman-Yor or normalized inverse-Gaussian process kernel mixtures

We consider Bayesian nonparametric density estimation using a Pitman-Yor or a normalized inverse-Gaussian process kernel mixture as the prior distribution for a density. The procedure is studied from a frequentist perspective. Using the stick-breaking representation of the Pitman-Yor process or the expression of the finite-dimensional distributions for the normalized-inverse Gaussian process, w...
